[... Some long stories Gon likes telling. Some long stories he really doesn't. This one is still new and raw enough to be in the latter category. He laughs uncomfortably.]
So I guess the only thing this place took away from me is just regular strength!
[Itona's usually oblivious when it comes to a situation like this and normally would try to get the information out from him, even by force. But when a guy like Gon doesn't want to tell him something, it's probably no use. Besides, if it was the opposite and Gon would ask him about his other powers, he would be probably the same.
So he gives up, at least for now.]
That can be regained, I guess. [By some hard work — he winces at the sole thought.] Now, let's find a place to sleep, I'm beat.
[Gon stretches one arm up behind his head and yawns widely.]
Me too!
[Finding a place to sleep is a great distraction, especially because he is tired, and Itona's even been awake longer, if he was still up and wandering around to find Gon in the courtyard. He speeds up, taking the lead as he darts down the corridor.]
[It's already quite late when they finally reach the gym. Most of the people who decided to spend the night here are mostly asleep or at least lying motionlessly, it's quite hard to tell since it's so dark.]
I guess we should just find a good spot and forget about the towels for tonight. Other's probably have taken them already...
Yeah, you're right. Wow, I didn't think it'd be crowded in here...
[...of course there are a lot of people here, and not too many places to sleep. Especially when it's raining. He shrugs, and plops down next to a wall, fluffing his pillow and tilting sideways onto it.]
[...aw man, Itona saw through him. So Gon'll have to meet him here tomorrow after all, instead of sleeping outside. Maybe he can talk Itona into it if it's not raining tomorrow, though?
There's probably not much of a chance of that. It's rained a lot. He pouts, just a little, and tries to squash the pillow into something taller and less uncomfortable.]

[Gon's really frowning now, deep in thought rather than angry.]
... But I, um... didn't. Anymore.
no subject
You didn't...what? What do you mean?

Maybe tomorrow!

[There's not much of the free space left, so he settles down just a few steps away from Gon.]
Yeah, maybe. We'll just have to come here earlier. So don't you think about sleeping outside or anything of the sort.
